Design
In the Design program mode only results for Ultimate Limit State load cases will be displayed.
Slender bending capacity
Required reinforcement is displayed in a table and graphically. The design is performed according to the stiffness method (EN 1992-1-1 5.8.7) or the curvature method (EN 1992-1-1 5.8.8) depending on the users choice. A separate design in each principal direction is made as a first step and if a moment is defined in at least one direction a possible biaxial check is also made according to EN 1992-1-1 5.8.9.
Slender compression capacity
If the stiffness method is used the compression capacity with regard to pure compression is calculated and the utilization is presented. Also the value of the slenderness factor is checked.
Minimum stirrups
If Secondary bar details is active and the option “Use minimum reinforcement” is activated then minimum transverse reinforcement according to EN 1992-1-1 9.5.3 is calculated.
Additional results
The result of the design, current reinforcement, compression zone and interactions diagrams N/My and N/Mz are also shown graphically in the drawing area.

The capacity is being calculated in accordance with the defined section forces.

Axial force capacity
Maximum compression capacity with regard to the current moment is calculated and the utilization is presented.
Slender compression capacity
If the stiffness method is used the compression capacity with regard to pure compression is calculated and the utilization is presented. Also the value of the slenderness factor is checked.
Additional results
The compression zone, stress diagram, strain diagram and interactions diagrams N/My and N/Mz are also shown graphically in the drawing area.
