This page lists restrictions and known issues that has been discovered and may apply.

  • For steel and timber elements that are continuously supported at the top and at the same time single supported in the bottom against lateral torsional buckling. The single supports will be ignored in the calculation.

  • Loads that affect the construction are assumed to be working through the shear center SC of the cross section, which means that there is no torsion of the cross section.
  • Controls of the support capacity with consideration to lateral instability are not performed.

  • In the present version Steel Module 6.4 it is not possible to design sections in section class 4.
