Introduction
General information
The program Punching checks the capacity with regard to punching for slabs supported by edge, corner and interior columns according to EN 1992-1-1. Possible shear reinforcement as bent-down bars or links is designed on the user’s choice.

Methods of calculation
The description of the calculation methods doesn’t claim to in detail reflect the program flow, but serves to give sufficient information on how the result of the calculation has been retrieved.
The slab capacity with regard to punching is calculated according to EN 1992-1-1 6.4.3. Possible shear reinforcement as bent-down bars or links are designed if required.
